SAP2000 Shells Reinforcement Envelope 1

Hi everyone.

After very thorough research in the forum, the web and the program's documentation, I come up starting a new thread to ask for help.

Is SAP2000 capable to display the Shells Reinforcement Envelope of all the load combinations? It is really easy to display the Shells Reinforcement (both ASt1 and ASt2, top and bottom) for each load combination individually, with very nice colour contours. But how can you display the MAX reinforcement of ALL the combinations, in order to design a concrete wall or a slab?

You can define an envelope load combination and read the shell reinforcement results for that.

When you define an envelope load combination, SAP2000 calculates the reinforcement for the envelope forces, instead of the expected envelope of the reinforcement for all cases.
The major problem is not that it could be overly conservative, but in some occasions it can miscalculate the results due to the fact of separating positive and negative values.
We have reported this issue to CSI time ago but no action from them so far. It is a pity because I really think it is not so hard to program.
