Does any else have problems saving mathcad 11 files as v7.

i have an unusual problem, the calculations remain the same however the headers and footers are either deleted or are changed with a random header from a file mathcad has opened in the past!!!! Not very good for QA!

Anyway does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

When I tried it, headers and footers disappeared altogether.

The Mathcad7 User's Guide (don't ask me why I keep these things) has a section on adding headers and footers. Seems pretty much unchanged with Version 11 except for a different looking dialog box.

When I open an old file last modified in 1998 (not sure which version) that has a footer, it keeps it when I save as Version 7.

The older versions had a VERY limited set of footer/header formatting commands. Very likely that a newer document uses formats that are not compatible with v7.

Something from 1998 would most likely be v7 or v8, which are probably very compatible with each other.

Hi,
does anyone know if there is a way to save a Mathcad v12 files as Mathcad 2000 files.
The impossibility of doing that maybe it's because i am working with a trial version.
Thank you in advance.
