Saving only changed files

Is there a Save option to save only changed files when doing a Save All? I'd like to not save the unchanged files again and again and would think the Save All command might go faster.
Currently running NX 5.0.6.3.
Thanks,

Note that the...

File -> Save All

...already does exactly that.

If you hover your cursor over the 'Save All' menu item you will note that the Balloon Help states: "Saves all modified parts and all top level assembly parts". Note that "top level assembly parts" are referring the ONLY the assembly file itself.

Would "bottom-up" design cause resaves to occur? Are we wrong to have a component as the "subassembly"? Such that,
widget
--thingamagig
----whatchamacallit,
would cause "widget" to file often?
Whereas,
subassembly_widget
widget
--thingamagig
----whatchamacallit,
would limit how often widget gets file. Correct?

Also, how many "top level assemblies"? All assemblies above where you're working in context, or THE top assembly?

Thanks,
Bob

One thing to consider is the version of the files. If your lower-level components are saved in an older version of NX, they will be listed as modified in the current version.
