I worked in a factory and we are using a copper greasing niplle and we want to replace it with a one made of Sbr-1500
the working conditions are
- NAOH 4% concentrating in water
- greasing with a lithium base

First of all, I thought SBR1500 wasn't available any more and was replaced by the non-staining SBR1502. Secondly, 80C is towards the top of SBR's range so I would probably use an EPDM-based compound instead.

To Graham: SBR 1500 is still produced (at least in Eastern Europe/Russia).

Thanks for the info Metten - I think I'll stick to S1502 if you don't mind.
