Hi all,
I am a grad engineer and have been analysis mplt from several gas wells for scale build up and have noticed that if there is a temperature drop across perforations ie something around 10degrees F than a reperf will be beneficial.
I am unsure of what a temperature drop indicates in terms of flow restriction at the perforations due to scaling, does anyone have any ideas?

finally, when reperforating to combat scale damage what needs to be taken into consideration in terms of design, lithology etc? any ideas/help here would be great

thanks in advance
