Oh well at least they admit it is unsafe. Welcome to next Ice Age. How about the oh-so-clever monkeys actually stop trying to fiddle with the knobs and actually gather statistically significant amounts of long term data (including the oceans) and build robust and testable models before fiddling with the control knobs?

In addressing the upcoming climate change, there can be numerous errors made with the best intentions... in addition, there will likely be a lot of snakeoil salesmen coming out of the woodwork... something to look forward to.

Here is literally the money shot from that article "The biggest argument against solar geoengineering is that pursuing it draws attention and funding away from the effort to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. "
That's it. No matter if it works, it is interfering with funding for the Prime Directive.

Anything that reduces or eliminates climate change is welcome... some approaches might bring other 'effects', that may not be so good.

And if the bad effects outweigh the 'good', you are still happy to support them? how odd.

"eliminates climate change"? Best of luck...

The problem with sloppy work is that the supply FAR EXCEEDS the demand

I'd better clarify that response. Things that reduce or eliminate climate change may be welcome. Climate change can be reduced by the serious reduction of greenhouse gases. The latter item is likely essential. It's unlikely that we can keep doing what we've been doing.

Sea levels rose 400 feet in 14k years regardless of greenhouse gas levels... If anything, CO2 has slowed climate change.

I wouldn't bet the farm on it, Tug...

That's exactly what you are willing to do based on CO2 being the great evil, dik. And you are not alone.

Dimming or shading?
They've been at it for years now.
Co2 is a good thing, plant life loves it.
There is no climate change, its climate engineering.
Now why is that done?

Is there a corollary to Godwin's law for global warming, that uses mentions of chemtrails as the marker?
