Scavenge air pressure main engine

Hi,
Beside from engine overload what would create high scavenge air pressure?

I was thinking more in terms of loss of lubrication or faulty lubrication causing excessive heat to cylinder liner causing the liner to crack.

How would the scavenge air pressure react in the process prior or afterwards the cracked liner due to excessive heat exposure.

I think preignition is more likely.

Have you exhausted whatever diagnostic resources the engine manufacturer provides?
