Screen tips(Tool tips) 1

Hi,
I am unable see the Screen tips(Tool tips)in unigraphics Nx4 even though the option is ticked. Is that any problem in my system or any other option is there to overide it. Thanks in advance for your tip.

Yes, that was a problem back in NX 4 which would occasionally occur. I never did learn exactly what triggered this behavior, but it seemed to have been fixed in NX 5.

Is there anyway to fix it in Nx4. My company has a plan to upgrade us to Nx6 by later stage. Now i have to work in this situation in Nx4. Help me to solve this issue. Thanks

Hi,

note that Excel & Co have a different mechanism to show
tool tips. They are not affected by this key. You should
check whether the mentioned key is present or not. If it
is make sure the value is 1.
If it is not there just insert it (type Dword) and
assign it a value of 1 (inserting the key does no
harm to the OS/programs) and see if it does solve the
problem.

Hi,

there was a similar issue with SE. Inserting the key (as
mentioned in the MS-KB note) into the registry and setting
the value to 1 cured that.
