Hello,

Is it possible to mate a screw and corresponding nut in an assembly such that when a rotary motor is applied to the screw it will follow its thread and moves into the nut? (the nut is fixed in space) I drew the thread by sweeping the profile along a helix

You can do this in Animator. You have two things going on--one, the nut traversing a linear path along the screw (or the other way around). Two, the nut rotating as it travels its linear path (or the other way around). You can apply the motion to the screw or nut (or both) to animate them, but you'll need to approximate (or do the math) the number of rotations per linear distance for the animation--it won't actually follow the helical thread geometry on its own.

The tutorials built into SW will give you a great idea on how you can do this with Animator.
