Screw Centrifugal Pump concerns

We're dealing with a condenser tube cleaning system that runs while the circulating water system is running.

The current pumps are screw centrifugal pumps (yes they exist) and the overhanging load from the 35 lb impeller seems to have some concerns. Biggest design flaw with this pump brand is having the mechanical seal and bearing in the same housing.

Has anyone had experience with these screw centrifugal pumps? They are primarily uses to pump 1" sponge cleaning balls in seawater.

Trying to get some general feedback on these pumps
