Hi
I am interesting in Dredging but not for Gold.
i am a sailman and where i live the sailing club that i am member has problem with the harbor.
every year we have lot of sand deposites to the entrance of the harbor and make it dificult for the sailing boats to come out or come in (because the keel )
we are thinking to make a dredge in order to suction the extra sand and deposite to a next area
the hoses will be under water in all route maximum 2meters depth ( 6 feet)
we want to deposite the sand in a area 40 meters away (130 ft )
The dredge that we have made (from diy plans around the internet) has 1'' 1/2 intake hose from the pump , 8mm nozle (0,314 inch) , 1'' 1/2 outlet , and the suction hose is also 1'' 1/2 pipe
our pump is for 18m3/h (79.251616 gallon (US)/minute)
From your experience it will do the jop? do we have to upgrade to a biger pump or build a dredge with other dimensions?
thanks in advance
