Section in Assembly

I am trying to create a section in an assembly. I am having a very hard time. Can someone help me out. I am assuming while in my assembly I have to switch to Master Modeler to get the section tools. From there I'm not sure how to create my section. Is there are dynamic section tool, where I can drag my section line back and forth?

No dynaimc section tool I'm afraid.

There's two different section options for assemblies. There is "cross-section" command in Master Assembly (4th icon down on RHS) which will give a new part containing a section through all selected instances.

There is also "cross-section" command in Master Modeller (under the top right-hand icon) that will also cut the selected instances but will give you the option of unassociative curves on the workbench or associative curves within the parts being cut.

Hi under the Zoom pull down menu you will find Dynamic Clip....maybe that may be of help.
