Is there a way to create section views at a set distance along an object? I am trying to create a drawing of a blade with 50 equally space section cuts, but so far the only way I see to create section cuts is to manually place them along the drawing.

Expand the view which you are interested in creating the section view of and draw a Line the length of the view, or at least the length of the area where you wish to create your section views. Now create a Point Set on the line with the number and/or spacing of the points equal to what you want as section views. Now 'unexpand' the view back to the Drawing view and create your section views selecting the points as the 'Cut Position' for each section view. Once you are done, go back the original view and Expand it again and then Hide the line and points, and then 'unexpand' the view back to the Drawing view and you should be good to go.

To an Engineer, the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.

Thank you very much, that helped solve my main issue. Now I wonder if there is any way to have the draft take just a cross section as opposed to a section view? The section view for this model picks up a lot more detail than I would like.

In the view style, disable the 'background' option.
