Please help, someone must have seen this or be able to suggest a reason/parameter setting for this?

I sent a V18 (SUN SOLARIS) prt file to a customer who is using V18 (NT) also. He complained that the section *-* text attributes on the drawing were badly placed (over other text/border/geometry) but my file the text is placed as drawn in the correct locations.

EDS have failed to replicate the problem, and my customer no longer wants to work with me claiming incompatability! I If anyone can solve this you will probably save my job (my bosses are blaming me!)

thanx in advance.

Darce.

Send me a copy of the file and I will look at it. My e-mail is in my profile. I may not get to it until Tuesday, as we are off until then, but I will look for it this afternoon as I have to go in and change backup tapes.

Is the drawing of an assembly or a detail? If it is an assembly is everything mated and you sent the the supplier all of the details referenced by the assembly? One missed detail that has the section attached to it could cause the section to move.

One other thing. If the file is large, do you have access to WinZip or PK-zip on a Windows machine, please zip the file, but do not make it a self-extracting (.exe) file. Our e-mail system won't allow .exe's in.
