Dumb question I know....

How would you define what a Seed File is?
How would you apply it in an environment like TeamCenter?

can you give some more details on what it is you are looking for ?

A seed file is a temeplate of how you want yourfiles to look like. The software brings in your seed file and then daoes a save-as to your file name. (It could do a copy, rename and open.)

It is used to set up things in your files that goes beyond what is set for a new file in customer defaults.
