Hi Everyone. I am new to this forum and also a new engineer.

Currently i am being assigned by my boss to seek and learn more info regarding the advance maintenance for gas turbine. Appreciate if anyone can share more info regarding

1) Study on Gas Turbine Advance Repair Technology and method for barrier and sacrificial coating.
2) Application of Activated Diffusion Healing , Turbine Barrier and Sacrifial Coating, Hot Isostatic Pressing
(HIP)

Hopefully anyone have further info on this please do share ya.

Appreciate in advance.

I suspect these are really questions for the manufacturer of your particular GT.

Also please don't double post. One of your posts will get deleted.

To supplement LI response, contact your local representative for Solar Turbines and General Electric and ask them for reference material.

Hi Guys.

Noted with that. However, when i went back to the OEM, they mentioned all these details are confidential and proprietary. I went to SOLAR and SIEMENS (formerly Rolls Royce)

Hence hoping if anyone over here have some details on this.

Regards,

Eric

Have you exhausted search engines? e.g. come up as the first one.

You might also want to talk to people who repair GTs or find a specialist forum. I don't recall many posts on gas turbines on eng tips I'm afraid.

Try finding an industry body like this lot ??

Look up past conference papers on similar topics.

Find out if your company belongs to any technical bodies or groups so you can access technical data. If not find one which might be useful and recommend a years subscription.

What exactly have you done other than post a question here?
