To design a pedestal supporting a turbine generator, dynamic analysis must be performed. Many engineering software, such as ANSYS and STAAD, can do this.

What I am looking for is some sort of software developed specifically to design foundations for dynamic equipment. The software should be equipped with components capable of relevant modelling and post processing.

Any information concerning the above would be appreciated.

Thanks for your quick reply.
It seems that they are dealing with dynamic design of equipment itself, not the structure that supporing the equipment.

What procedure did you follow to calculate the Dynamic Spring and Damping Constants for the Pedestal that is supporting Turbine Generator. They are critical to decide which model you want to use.Let me know. Thanks.

If you have performed a dynamic anaysis, you have (some) information on accellerations and frequencies. with that, and the accellerated mass, you have information of the forces exerted on the foundation. Thus, you can treat the whole problem as a statical problem. You can use any FE code to solve the problem.
Until you have solved the dynamic problem however, modelling of the support is only relevant with respect to stiffness and, if applicable, damping.
