I am looking for a good seismic design reference, something based upon IBC 2003 and/or 2006. I would like something with worked examples. Any suggestions?

Examples for what? I beleive the IBC already publishes a three volume set of examples.

That said, you need to be specific in what you're looking for, seismic examples run the gamut from wood to steel and everything inbetween. Then there is the analysis portion, equivalent lateral load or RSA or time history....

Not a question with a single answer...

It's the ICC, not the IBC. You can look them up on the web by searching for "ICC seismic design examples".
