seismic effect in tanks

Dear experts,
I want to calculate the seismic effect for an elevated steel water tank
it's about 10 meters height
how can I take the effect of seismic in water inside the tank during earth quake

Is the tank required to comply with any particular building code or standard?

In particular, AWWA D100 gives seismic design requirements for tanks subject to that standard.
Addressed to some extent in ASCE 7 as well.
If those are not applicable, perhaps some other code or standard is?

the tank should comply with ACSE 7 ,I will check AWWA D100
it's the first time for me to deal with water storage tanks,
and I will be pleased if there is any special requirements should I take into account during my design or applying load cases
