I need to calculate seismic reactions for some silos and bins that will be used to store grain. Can anyone recommend a good book or other resource for this. I may also be interested in some software specifically for bins and silos. Does anyone know of any?

Your question is broad and doesn't even specify what seismic code applies. Furthermore you post history suggests your participation in this forum is mostly to ask questions and sometimes to respond in the threads you started. None of which is provides a particular incentive to assist you.

I regularly deal with seismic behaviour of silos & grain bins. I suggest you apply your local seismic code.

ntattose: Check out a book titled Structural Engineering Handbook by Gaylord and Gaylord. Chapter 23 has a section on bins and discusses the forces and stress evaluation for bins. Blodgett's Design of Welded Structures Section 6.5 also discusses bins. Hope that helps
