select all on a certain layer? 3

Is there a simple way to select all the items on a certain layer, without turning off all the other layers and doing a box around what's left?

Not that I know of, but you can speed up the process if you use the following commands to turn off and on the layers.
ISOLATELAYER
UNISOLATELAYER

Hi,
SmartSelect command allows you to select entities by various criteria. If you select Entire drawing and MULTIPLE, you can select all the entities in the desired layer.
