Selecting All nodes with a given x,y, or z coordinate

I am using ABAQUS 6.9-2 and am trying to create a python routine that will select and create a node set for all nodes at a given x, y, or z position. Because this will be used in conjunction with further mesh studies and other parametric studies using the CAE view-port to select is time prohibiting. I have done some searching and read through the scripting examples and am still coming up empty handed, any help would be greatly appreciated.
