Hi everybody, Please for your advise and comment.
Cheers!!

I have Hydraulic Winch with Capacity 10 Ton SWL, requirement of the power supply (hydraulic pump) is 180 bar, 104 l/min.

The question is, can I use Hydraulic Pump with duty point 400 bar and Flow rate 300 l/min for the power supply?

Please for your comment and advise

My Hydraulic Winch data as below,

Equipped with Control Valve, Pressure Gauge, Gearbox, Pressure Line, Return Line, Drain Coupling.

Hydraulic Winch Motor
1.Type : Hydraulic Motor
2.Size : 200 CC
3. Rated Speed : 580 rpm
4. Nominal Power : 10 Kw

It depends on what type of pump you're considering and what else you've got in the circuit.

If you use a constant delivery pump, the 3x excess flow could well cause you problems if you're just relying on an open centre control valve to unload it. As well as excessive heat loss in the control valve when the system is idling, you would expect the winch to operate much faster than is safe. You can get round all this by introducing a proper package of valves to unload the pump and control the flow: These cost money - more so if the pump is grossly mismatched to the load.

The system pressure is usually governed by the mechanical load, with the 180 bar rating on the winch being an indication both of what pressure you might see when the winch is loaded up to 10T and also of what pressures they had in mind when they designed the structure of the motor. The 400 bar pump rating is a combination of the highest pressure it will sustain without stalling the specified prime mover and what pressure they had in mind when designing the structure of the pump. You will need to provide relief valves somewhere to protect the motor against overpressure - especially if there's a risk of overspeeding the winch.

If you have a variable delivery pump, particularly one with a built-in valve package, you are much more likely to be able to match flow to load and control the system pressure - but variable delivery pumps aren't cheap and you need to pick the right control package.

Check your power requirements...

180 BAR @ 104 litres/min is 31.2 kW

Your motor torque is 572Nm

At 580 RPM, that is about 15kW at 85% efficiency

Your pump power is 235kW

Clear mismatch there...

If you give the motor too much, you will over speed it and it won’t last long.

The brake is also lower spec than the motor. The motor will drive through the brake...

Things to check and confirm there...
 
Thanks for your advise @zeusfaber and @Hpost,

particularly, i would like to put the pump in as below possible, the pump will be placed 7 meter below the winch, i also make a tee on outlet liquid so the power pack pump outlet liquid (pressure/flow rate) will be divided. A tee (one nozzle to the winch and one nozzle back to the power pump tank).

meanwhile, Return pressure on the winch i believe it will have important role to avoid ovrpressure,right?

Use a pressure-compensated priority flow control valve, not a tee, in the pump outlet.

and i just check more data on Hydraulic Diagram, the winch is equipped with Pressure Relief Valve at 200 bar.
i am sure it can help.

Paramaribo, you're not listening to the advice above. Your pump is about 10 to 20 times bigger than the motor. It is far too big.

All the energy the pump puts into the fluid that isn't used by the motor needs to go somewhere. This will be heating the fluid very quickly.

If you install this huge pump (250 kW!) to drive this tiny motor (you state 10kW) it will not work unless you have many other users of hydraulic oil at the same time.
