Hi users,
I modeled the vertical cycling of pipe in CEL, which cycles between lower and upper displacement limits.
Now, the upper limit of cycles would be fixed at the specific displacement, but the lower limit would be defined by a load limit.
As I searched in the ABAQUS forum, I think I can do this by using a VUAMP subroutine. set the sensor for RF2 and then try to define a limit on it in the VUAMP.
Having said that, I found a sample VUAMP subroutine uploaded here and then try to use it in a simple way. But, I got the following error:

***ERROR: Sensor FORCE-SENSOR cannot be found but is accessed in VUAMP.Please
make sure that this sensor is defined for this step.

both "inp" and subroutine files are attached here, I would really appreciate it if help me in this case,

Thank a lot
Hossein

Based on the error message you received, it seems like the FORCE-SENSOR that you are trying to use in your VUAMP subroutine has not been defined for the current step in your ABAQUS analysis.

To fix this issue, you can try the following steps:

Make sure that you have defined the FORCE-SENSOR in your ABAQUS analysis input file. The definition should look something like this:

*SENSOR
NAME=FORCE-SENSOR
NODE=1234
DIRECTION=2

Replace "1234" with the node number where you want to measure the RF2 reaction force. The DIRECTION should be set to the appropriate direction for RF2.

Ensure that the SENSOR definition is active in the step where you are trying to use the VUAMP subroutine. You can check this by looking at the status of the SENSOR in the output file.

Double-check that you have correctly referenced the FORCE-SENSOR in your VUAMP subroutine. Make sure that the sensor name matches the one you defined in your input file.

If none of these steps solve the problem, you may want to post your question on the ABAQUS forum to get additional help from other users who have experience with VUAMP subroutines.
