Serial number on Declaration of conformity

Can anyone give guidance on whether the serial number protion of a declaration of conformity can be hand written in. We use a "Stock" DoC and would like shipping to write the Serial # in when woth rest of documentation.

I don't see why not. I sign/Date our DOC's with a pen, never received any negative feedback from our NB.

You can issue the whole declaration by hand. The only thing you have to obey is that in this case capital letters (if any) must be used.
