Several scenario loading

Say I need to run a combination with Load A and then another scenario that includes the same combination and load B.
Is there a way to have Etabs or SAP2000 doing this without having to define the whole combination when combining it with Load B?

Do you mean a combination of combinations? I think you can do that, just add a new combination and select your "combination with Load A" and "Load B".

I am not sure if I am answering your question but I always define dead and live load in 2 separate combinations then later combine them into one with their respective load factor applied.
