Greetings to all,
I'm just new here, and I would like to ask if what are the main causes on why do SEW bge 1.5 rectifiers to go bad, together with its brake coil? Thank you.

Best regards,

I believe the brake coil will draw excessive current if the brake plate can't seat correctly. That either burns the coil out or the diodes.

Or you have applied the wrong voltage to the brake coil. Happens a lot when people retrofit VFDs or soft starters without separating the brake coil circuit.
