Has anyone installed a sewage ejector pump in the second chamber of a septic or in a basin feed by a septic tank?
Is there a problem with this configuration such as clogging of the pump or passing items through the pump and clogging the line going to the sewer. The ejector pump will pass a two inch solid. The line proposd is a 2 inch schedule 40 PVC with a length of 1700 feet going into a gravity feed manhole connection. I am considering a one horse ejector pump which is more than adequate for the dynamic and static head pressure on the line.
If a new septic is properly installed with file lines sealed, is there a probability of getting ground water leakage into the septic tank than would be pumped into the sewer.
The application is a smal restaurant with two toilets, a three compartment sink and two hand sinks with an absolute maimum peak flow of 20 gallonds per minute.
I anyone has any experience with this type of installation, I would like to know what problems were encountered if any.
