Greetings All

Can anybody tell me how to generate shaded views on my drawings...I need to do some exploded views and show parts in different colors but have not had any luck so far...Please help

Recommended for you

View Properties. Check the box labeled "Enable occlusion culling, then change view generation mode to "Raster". Click on options and change to Shading or Shading with edges.
 
My bad, you don't need to check the Enable occlusion culling box.
 
If you want the color of your models to come over in the drawing views, check the "3D color" box.

Thanks for the speedy responce...However after following your instructions i get the following error when trying to generate a new view.

"The image cannot be built.Try to reduce the scale of the view and/or the level of detail in the view's properties."

The error is the same even after reducing the scale and the quality to low...Any Ideas?
 
I'll have to look into it , but it appears there is a size restriction.

Maybe someone with more knowledge can help.

If I find anything, I'll let you know.
