We have a 60" x 60" hydrostatic bearing slip table coupled to a UD T4000 shaker and it has been noted the crosstalk is very high, exceeding the input at 1000hz usually, this in spite of the table have 13 bearings to control the off axis motion. How can the crosstalk be improved if at all. the slip table is mounted on a 200 ton airbag supported block of cement filled steel shell.

the slip table, according to the manufacturer is operating correctly. Its a Team table and the bearings are the T and V type. The v type are supposed to control the off axis motion so I am also wondering is its a characteristic of larger slip tables?

Hi IRstuff,
It's funny to read your sentense "Sounds like you should be talking to the manufacturer" for a non-native English speakers as me.
You use the words "sounds" and "talking" (reminiscent of crosstalk) to say something which has nothing to do with sound and crosstalk.
Freud would tell you that you are a little bit obsessed by that.
