SHEAR FRP beam reinforcement

hithere,

any suggestions on how to design reinforcement with FRP

i have:

r/c 25x50 cm emerging beam,
the slab thickness is 20cm
no rotations are allowed at both endings
span loading 3 t/m
beam lenght 6m

the existing reinforcement is only 50% than required

FRP stand for Fiber-Reinforced Plastic reinforcement, here aiming for repair of a structural defficiency in shear.

I have heard of taking sheets of FRP and epoxying them to the face of beams, walls, etc. The tensile strength of these sheets is tremendous, and the d you get by placing them on the face really increases your bending capacity. There is an article in one of the recent Structural Engineer magazines about using these sheets for masonry. I'll try to dig up the article.
