Say that the d = 300, last peimeter of shear link required is at 700mm from the column face, the 1st shear link perimeter is at 0.5d = 150 from column face. Subsequent shear link at 300mm, 450mm, 600mm away from column (Radial spacing limit = 0.75d = 225mm) . now the question arises, Can i consider the last perimeter of shear link to be at 600mm away from column ? Or can I consider it as 150*5 = 750mm away from column ? I choose radial apcing = 150mm because my rebar spacing is 150mm, this is to ease the tying of the longtidunal rebar to the shear link)
