sheet layouts have completely disappeared!!!

After a series of commands in model tab, I went to my layout tabs and there was nothing there!! Anyone know what's up?

Try

Tools - options- display - layout elements-display layout and model tabs.

Not sure why they would dissapear but check the above.

I guess the other thing maybe that they have dissapeared behind the command line for some reason (not sure why though). Try dragging the command line down to see if they are behind or not.

Thanks for reply--it is actually not the tabs--sorry for mis-phrasing--but the border title block, the viewports, any paper space text. The layout sheet is empty...

You may have inadvertently double clicked the viewport border, maximizing modl space. Double click the border again to re-size it back.

Do you have daily/nightly server backup files to allow you to recover the state of the drawings the day prior to the mishap?

Type "PSPACE" at the command line and zoom all the way out. Also make sure all the layers are on.

He could have also nuked the XREFs of the paperspace borders.
