Hi,
How would create this bracket using Sheet Metal tool, only?
I am interested in the right side of the part (faces marked in yellow for evidence).

Thanks,

Will this work (see attached model)?

Dear Mr. Baker,
Yes, It does! Thanks a lot!

kapmnit123:
Thanks for your suggestion.
Hem Flange would give different results than the one that is expected.
I have created an Assembly on which I included 3 components:
1) The original one (created by me ; extension GI)
2) Mr. Baker's one (extension JRB)
3) Yours (extension kapmnit123)

I have intentionally altered the edge used for the Hem Flange in order to get a better visualization of the feature.
Mr. Baker's model is the one that works.

Thanks, again, both of you for your reply!

Hi MZ7DYJ ,
[bigsmile] i knew Mr Baker model is the one you are looking for (and perhaps that is the only way of doing it.Flanges profile need to be tangent to the base profile and so the smaller radii always need to be a part of the flange profile itself). Hem flange is good in some cases only but i can not play with the center of the bigger radius in it (only radius).
But for standard cases perhaps it might give you something fast.
Have a good day.
Best Regards
Kapil

I've checked again......The model proposed by Mr. Baker is not as accurate as I thought....
The green face should be collinear with the yellow one!
Your input on this topic is, again, welcomed!

Faces should be tangent..Sorry!

Hi,
Actually the flange is always created (unless you mitre the corners) normal to the face you attach it to (while creating the sketch of the profile the sketch plane used is the one normal to the edge path.
In your model the angle is a bit different than 90 degrees (please find the image attached).
You might think of using synchronous in that case to replace the end faces with the base faces.
