How can I get the tool bar back in modeling for the sheet metal commands? This was available in NX5 now is not in 7.5. Any suggestions?

That NX 5.0 toolbar that you're asking about was to access the old, and now obsolete, Sheet Metal Design Module. This module had been replaced by NX Sheet Metal, which has it's own 'task' environment, similar to the Sketcher or Drafting, and which is launched from the 'NX Start' menu.

It was nice to be able to create flanges, punch operations, and other sheet metal features on the fly in modeling. Now we have to enter the seperate sheet metal module to use any of these tools. That's if the license is available. Will we ever be able to access the new sheet metal tools from modeling?

Thanks for the reply John.

While NX Sheet Metal is referred to as a 'module', if you have a feature modeling license (which it would appear that you do) then you should have access to the NX Sheet Metal 'task' as well. And no, there are no plans to 'merge' Sheet Metal into Modeling itself.
