Thanks for reference unclesyd,

But will be better if somebody exectly working in Sahalin now have own suggestion about this.

I heard that peaple who joined to this project is not happy now. It is try?

I prefer information from real human, than from
official release (this is politic) or from compony advertising.

Anyway, Thanks for you time.

I worked on Sakhalin I for several years. I have many friends still working with SEIC on Sak II. I can't go into details but the issues have little substance, and as was referenced by EminM, it probably has more to do with the PSA's than anything.

If you know much about far east Russia (or most any part for tha matter), they have very mature regulations and norms (GOST and Snips) that are really quite good documents. The problem is they are seldom followed or enforced. And I'm not saying shell is not following them, but they may be being selectivly interpreted and enforced.

You won't get much more than that unless you want to go hang out at the bars in Yuzhno.

Well I read that Shell & Gazprom are deep in negociations over Gazprom entering the project. The article mentioned that Gazprom would take 25% of the project, rising to 50%, with Shell, Mitsui and Mitsubushi's shares being prorated down.

So expect to see all the environmental ho-ha to stop as soon as Gazprom become the majority stake holders....

Thanks Greg for your information.
It is useful for understanding of whole picture
