Wondering if anyone has ever came across a shock absorber that double ended. I would like to cushion a cylinder on both extend and retract positions but would rather not have to buy 2 for one cylinder.

Is it a new cylinder? Buy it with internal cushions on both ends.

Can you just order the cylinder with internal cushion on both ends?

It is better to have enough ideas for some of them to be wrong, than to be always right by having no ideas at all.

No luck with this brand of cylinder and internal cushions. Either too much cushion or not enough cushion. Loading is changed during machine changeover which causes cushioning problems. Flow control valves are somewhat effective. However adjustment will be needed for each changeover. I'm thinking full pressure, external cushions would be the way to go...or buy better cylinders with more reliable cushioning. such as the Festo auto adjusting cushion cylinders. Thanks though eh!
