Hello to everyone

I participate ESEO project. I task is carbon fiber mounting of antena. I did analysis to cover requirements, but i got a problem with SRS analysis. For FEM calculations I use NX, where I can find maximum ply failure for random events, but I need Power Spectral Density curve. How can I convert data from SRS which is generally acceleration to frequecny function to PSD curve?

If it is hard or not possible, do you know software, where I can check max ply failures for shok response analysis?

regards

You can't readily go from SRS to PSD. You can reverse Miles' equation, but there are limitations on the shape of the PSD.

The easiest method might be to synthesize a PSD, convert it to a Vibration Response Spectra (VRS) and compare it to your SRS. This would be an iterative process, and steps are available in detail from VibrationData as mentioned above.

Good luck.
