using SW professional 2007.

often with assemblies i like to hide a bunch of parts to clear the clutter. But then when i want to show all of the parts again, i have to select each hidden part in the design tree and select show. It can get pretty tedious especially if i'm searching the list for one part among 100 or so. Is there a "Show All" command which shows all the parts in the assembly? I'm having trouble finding anything like that.

Rmb, show with dependants - should do it for you.

Or LMB Select the topmost assy in the FM tree, then in the Edit dropdown you can select the hide/show or suppress/unsupress options.

ahhhh, got it. You mean right mouse click on the top assembly. Thanks, rjason

Also...consider the new 2007 tool called "Isolate".....control select all the components you want to keep...right click and select Isolate. When you're done...you exit Isolate mode and everything comes back.

You can also create a "Display State" to hide stuff for working. Just always keep the default DS with everything on. Display States are under configurations.
