Dear Pro Users,

I am using Pro/E 2000i
Can we show a model dimension in the drawing twice?
I used to think I could not because whenever I used to write the dimension code of a show/erase dimension in the note, the original dimension used to vanish.
But some times I come across a situation where I find a dimension shown in the drawing as well as in the note.

Has someone faced similar ploblem at some point of time??

yes,it is possible.
Create a table and enter the dimension code of any dimesion, which you already shown in your drawing via Show/Erase. As you press return key, the origional dimension from drawing disappear. Now use copy cell option and copy the dimension in another cell. Now delete the contain of any one cell and you can see that dimension in two places.
Another way create a note and enter the code of the dimension without doing Show/Erase.Now show the dimesion using Show/Erase.

FYI- I've repeatedly Shown Dim and then simply switched its view... not a problem... the previous post re: notes also allows multiple intances of the same animal,- all you need is the symbol...
