Hello,
Is there a way to show only all the SCYS's of the sub-assemblys directly placed in the top level assembly?
If i choose show "Coordinate Systems" in "Show and Hide" i get hundreds coordinate systems in my assembly. All coordinate systems of all parts many levels deep are shown. I loose the overview of all coordinate systems and the computer becomes very slow.
I only want to see the CSYS of the sub assemblys and/or parts directly placed in the assembly i'm working in.

Hopefully someone has a solution.
Thanks in advance.

Make sure all the sub assemblies are set to Entire Part reference set with their children set to MODEL, then when you show all co-ordinate systems only those within the entire part reference stes will be visible.

Alternativly you could control them with layers, move all your sub-assembly CSYS to layer 1 and all child part CSYS to layer 2 for example then only those on layer 1 will be visible

Thank you for your answer.
But both ways are very time consuming. And another problem I have with both ways is that a lot of parts and (sub)assembly's are "read only", so i can't change layers or change the reference sets.
It would be a nice option if there was a possibility to choose till how deep you want to see the coordinate systems.

You can move the unwanted CSYS to layers relative to the top level (displayed) assembly only and not affect the read-only parts, although without a macro this would still require selecting them all manually.

The selection isn't that difficult if you before selecting hide and show the correct components in the assembly navigator.
i.e drag-select all sub components , then tick the box in the navigator to hide them. select all the remaining CSYS and move to a specific layer.
Reverse Hide/ Show all, select all CSYS and move to a different layer.

Thanks for the answers.
I will try it, but i still find it a devious way to do it.
