Hi,

Is there any method to conduct a differential stability test on Shunt reactor bushing CTs ?
I understand that as compared to Transformers , reactor does not have any secondary so shorting on secondary and circulating a current high enough to check the CT secondary current is not possible in reactors.

Thanks in advance.

Have you already done CT saturation & ratio testing by apply a small primary voltage and measuring open circuit voltage of the CTs?

Hi bacon4life,

Yes, the same was already completed.

thanks.

Are the CT's inaccessable and located inside an oil filled tank?

Hi DTR2011,

Yes the CTs are inaccessible and housed inside the turret of the bushings.

Thanks.
