I have a query , we have a reactor pump system (working+standby) same suction line obviously.
Shutoff pressure for both we are getting different. How is this possible?
Impeller we have checked for both & are matching to the specification and with each other.
Is RPM a possibility, that one of the pumps are running at a different RPM?

Is possible to see the field photos of pump as well as the Suction/Discharge piping?

Without the issue of the mechanical pump or electrical motor, is it possible the issue of the connecting piping?
It was happened that a nozzle plastic cap from the shop was left on the nozzle during the construction which blocked the process flow in the start-up. It could be very remote but happened.

I apologise for the waste of time I caused, should have personally checked the direction. It was a motor direction issue. I planned on exchanging impeller and rechecking but after it was the same then the operator brought up this point.

Sorry again. Hence I didn't share the documents. Came to know this 2 days ago.

You did say in your post of 12 Jan 10 02 "Yes rotation is correct. Checked."

So what changed?
Sometimes you need to do things yourself....

I did say , i didn't expect operators to make such a mistake but I checked for every pump except the one most important. Need basic analysis before moving forward yes.
