Shuttle tables/material handling advice 1

When you do any repair on the shuttle tables or anything that likes to wad up parts and break bolts- DO NOT put harder bolts in! If the bolts want to break, find out why, and until you find out why do yourself a favor and let the cheap bolts break. If you use hard bolts, not only are they difficult to remove when they do break, they break other stuff that's expensive hard to get rusted in place stuff that you don't want to deal with.

When the hard bolts snap watch out for the ricochet. Seen them dent the ceiling....

I remember one snapping and hitting a parked fork truck. It gouged the steel on it.

in our laser mech contact heads we replaced the steel screws with nylon for this very reason.
