I have a Siemens HMI (model KTP1000 Basic PN)and a LOGO 0BA7 using WinCC (V12 SP1) and Comfortsoft LOGO softwares....I've got all the intrfacing parameters set, and put some buttons and lights on the screen. Everything is talking ok, but I'm unable to get the touchscreen pushbuttons to turn on PLC inputs. If I give a physical input to the PLC, I can see outputs on the HMI. I've configured the IO the same, assigning tags between WinCC and CSLogo appropriately. I'm getting no help from Siemens or vendors,as usual. Why would I be able to have outputs from PLC to HMI but not HMI outputs to PLC inputs?? I've tried changing every available parameter and setting I can find...what am I missing?

First thing, the LOGO is not a PLC, its an intelligent relay.

The problem you are having I imagine, is simply that the LOGO will update its input status and over-write anything that you may send from the HMI.

What I learned was that I cannot 'override' the physical inputs, nor could I OR the input with a network input, I had to run the NI to a memory bit, then OR it with the physical input. seems to be working so far...
