Siemens OPC Excel server...auto start?

I'm using the latest Siemens OPC server, collecting data with their excel plug in. I'm trying to make it so it automatically starts collecting data when the spreadsheet is opened. I'm having trouble doing it with a macro. Anyone know how to do this?

The idea is to have it as automatic as possible. It needs to start up when the computer is turned on, instead of waiting for someone to go click the "collect data" button...

Try using Sub Autpen()

Well, that will start a macro automatically, but I don't know how to make it start collecting data from within that macro...

How do you start the data collection now? Just implement the same procedure from within that sub.

You hit a button on the tool bar that the OPC program added to excel. I tried recording a macro, but excel acts as if it didn't even see that button click when I try and record it...
