Silent Install of SELicense.dat

Hi,

Our Solid Edge ST3 is about to expire. I have obtained a new license file, but we have hundreds of computers that need to be updated with the new file.

Is there a way I can silently install the new license file across the network without running the license utility on each computer?

Why not ask your VAR or whatever authorized party you got your license from?

What type of license are they, stand alone or network or what?

Hi,

I think I may be ok now. They had told me that I just need to drop the SELicense.dat into the "solid Edge\Program" folder. The issue I was having was, even after copying the file Solid Edge was still saying it was going to expire in 18 days.

Turns out, Siemens is taking their time processing our license renewal, so the files GTAC is producing are still set to expire this month. Hopefully sometime this week I will have a new file that actually works.
