How to produce a T in a route. I don't want to use T fittings and
when I draw a line perpendicular to the main route it is not automatically added to the pipe route.
Not sure if this is exactly what you're going for, but if you have a run of pipe and you want to 'T', sketch a line perpendicular to the existing line and then drop a flange or other fitting that you want coming from the 'T'.
Then, right click on the point from the line you sketched perpendicular to the existing line that is coincident with your original line and select "Penetrate".
It'll act as if you cut a hole in the first pipe and then welded the 'T' into it as another pipe.
Got caught up in adding the picture that I forgot to also say, if you just sketch a line that Routing won't know what to do with the line. You need to add route segment properties, and a good way to do that is by adding a fitting, in this case I added a 1.25 flange.
