Simple STEP file problems 1

I'm using SE15 and always have problems with STEP files...

Can someone give this assy a try... It's a simple box and cover..... The assy opens up but I can't see the box when in asm mode but everything appears when I am in dft mode. Link is below....

I have also tried it on version 19 and it does the same thing.... I'm really curious if it works on ST or any other version.... or is it a setting I'm missing???

Hi,

after loading it do an RMB in the free area of the graphics
windo and select ShowAll Sufraces or select the box and do
an RMB --> Show/Hide Component.
The box itself came in as construction surface only IMHO because
of either faces do overlap or produced a 'Non-Zero manifold'
error (faces just touching each other)

thank you, thank you....... so simple but easy to have missed all this time.... I have always tried show all and activate but somehow missed that show/hide component section....
I will have to try this with a full size cabinet next.

Just wondering, in a large assy, can one show all construction surfaces without having to go thru each component?? There is no "show construction surfaces" when you RMB an assy or sub assy, only "parts..... one can easily miss one and this could take a long time...

Hi,

hmm, when no part is selected and you click into the
free space of the graphics window --> RMB should have
an item 'Show All ...' and thereunder you should find
'Surfaces'. It should bring up all construction surfaces
OK, sometimes it does not work as advertised ...

I just get a Hide All option when I do that ??
