Has anyone tried using the ammonia reaction available in the HYSYS library? I was wondering how accurate it is for a HTAS 200 series 2 radial bed converter. Any tweaks that make the simulation better? For one, I have trouble esitmating the split of flow between the inlet and the quench of the converter. How does one estimate this exactly? We only have the HYSYS.Process ie the steady state simulation package.

Razif,

I am also trying to model an ammonia reactor on hysys, but I am having trouble. What fluid package are you using in Hysys?
